With a sweater-knit face and fleece interior for warmth and wicking, our Better Sweater Jacket can be worn over a shirt in town or layered under a shell in the backcountry. Soft and bulk-free, it’s made of 10-oz 100% recycled polyester fleece dyed with a low-impact process that significantly reduces the use of dyestuffs, energy and water compared to conventional dyeing methods. Flat-seam construction reduces bulk and helps to eliminate seam chafe. A zippered left-chest pocket secures small valuables, and zippered handwarmer pockets keep fingers toasty. The stand-up collar has a zipper garage for next-to-skin comfort, while raglan sleeves provide pack-wearing comfort. Shape-holding, abrasion-resistant micropolyester jersey trims the collar, cuffs and hem. And it’s Fair Trade Certified sewn, which means the people who made it earned a premium for their labor. Shipping :

We send most orders out the day we receive them (Monday-Friday received by 2pm CST).  Now and then one gets delayed and so we have to make the official answer, “We ship all orders within 24-48 hours M-F”, but we have the “official answer” so nobody gets mad if that doesn’t happen.  You’ll receive a confirmation email when your order has shipped, and if there’s any glitch we’ll contact you ASAP.  Please note that most shippers (UPS, Post Office, FedEx) all have earlier cutoff times for overnight shipments.  So we can only guarantee next day if we receive the order by noon Central Time Monday-Thursday. 2-Day and Overnight shipping apply to business days and are not guaranteed for weekend delivery. Orders are also not shipped on Federal Holidays.
