Lamb Burger With Halloumi Cheese

Instructions

  1. Grate half of the halloumi cheese and put it in a large bowl with the ground lamb, chopped mint, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix everything well with your hands and form a patty.
  3. Preheat a large skillet on the stove over medium heat, drizzle with half the olive oil and add the patty, turning occasionally. Cook for 15 minutes.
  4. While the meat is cooking, slice the red cabbage and mix it in a bowl with the remaining olive oil and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Slice the remaining halloumi cheese.
  6. Once the patty is done, remove it from the pan and add the halloumi slices. Fry it for 2–3min on both sides.
  7. Arrange the burgers with lettuce, patty, red cabbage, fried halloumi, and mayonnaise.
