Malton itself is a compact historical market town with a fantastic array of independent shops and artisan food producers within a 10 walk from the station. The Coastliner bus station is also opposite the station offering onward connections to Castle Howard, Flamingo Land, Eden Camp, Pickering, Goathland and the coast.
